The purpose of this directory is to provide
employers with a resource to identify service providers to fulfill their workforce needs
such as:
 | Screening and recruiting qualified employees; |
| Assessing training needs and developing
training plans; |
| Identifying and accessing training providers; |
| Identifying and accessing employee related
subsidies such as on-the-job training (OJT), training grants such as WEDNET, Customized
Job Training (CJT), targeted tax credits; and |
| Identifying and accessing other workforce
related information such as labor statistics, labor laws, OSHA information, and the
Northwest PA IRCs, Human Resource Program. |
